No PDKI Peshmerga Killed in Iranian Shelling of Southern Kurdistan
Iran’s terrorist Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps begun shelling the Choman and Sidikan regions of southern (Iraqi) Kurdistan 12:40 local time today, September 24.
Iran has also deployed fighter jets to the border between eastern (Iranian) and southern Kurdistan.
In a statement, PDKI’s Peshmerga Forces refuted claims by some media outlets that 18 PDKI Peshmergas have been killed and 7 others injured in the shelling. None of PDKI’s Peshmergas based in the region have been killed or injured.
The Peshmerga Forces clarified that Iran had targeted civilian populated regions of southern Kurdistan.
