Mam Jalal Talabani was a prominent personality who played an important role in fighting for the rights of the Kurdish nation in southern (Iraqi) Kurdistan, both as a guerrilla leader and a renowned politician.<\/p>\n
The passing away of Mam Jalal in this delicate and critical period in southern Kurdistan is a great loss.<\/p>\n
For us too as PDKI, the passing away of Mam Jalal is a great loss. We have lost a longstanding and loyal friend, whose friendship with us was established during the time of our martyred leader Dr. Ghassemlou.<\/p>\n
