{"id":5314,"date":"2018-07-17T17:43:08","date_gmt":"2018-07-17T17:43:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pdki.org\/english\/?p=5314"},"modified":"2018-09-16T17:53:12","modified_gmt":"2018-09-16T17:53:12","slug":"statement-on-iranian-shelling-of-peshmerga-bases","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pdki.org\/english\/statement-on-iranian-shelling-of-peshmerga-bases\/","title":{"rendered":"Statement on Iranian Shelling of Peshmerga Bases\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Earlier today, July 17, Iran\u2019s terrorist Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) heavily shelled the border region between eastern (Iranian) and southern (Iraqi) Kurdistan, where the Peshmerga Forces of Kurdistan have some of their bases. Aside from causing damage to villages and civilian property located in the area, two brave Peshmerga were martyred in the shelling.<\/p>\n<p>Since 2015, Iran\u2019s terrorist IRGC has repeatedly shelled the border region between eastern and southern Kurdistan.
