On Wednesday, 26 November 2025, Shehin Zadahmad, the PDKI representative to Finland, held an official meeting with Mr. Johan Kvarnstr\u00f6m, a Finnish Member of Parliament.<\/p>\n
The meeting focused on efforts to reopen and reactivate the Kurdish Committee within the Finnish Parliament, with the aim of strengthening dialogue and cooperation on matters relating to the Kurdish community. The discussions also addressed several important topics concerning Kurdistan and the Kurdish diaspora.<\/p>\n
Acknowledging the importance of these issues, MP Kvarnstr\u00f6m invited two other Finnish parliamentarians \u2014 Matias M\u00e4kynen of the Social Democratic Party and Peter \u00d6stman of the Christian Democrats \u2014 to join the meeting.<\/p>\n
All three MPs welcomed the proposals and requests presented by the PDKI representative.
