Members of Parliament Kadir Kasirga and Leif Nysmed; and Sana Eliasson, head of the Olof Palme Center.<\/p>\n<p>During the meeting, the participants discussed the current situation in Iran and Kurdistan, the past two weeks of protests, and the repressive actions and human rights violations committed by the Islamic Republic against the protesters.<\/p>\n<p>The PDKI delegation emphasized the important role of pro-democracy forces in uniting the Iranian opposition around shared democratic goals, highlighting the PDKI&#8217;s involvement in this process.<\/p>\n<p>The delegation also outlined its expectations for support from the Swedish government and the Social Democratic Party for the Kurds and the peoples of Iran.<\/p>\n<p>At the conclusion of the meeting, the Social Democrats praised the unity and coordination among Kurdish political parties in Eastern Kurdistan.
