{"id":6995,"date":"2026-01-29T07:59:17","date_gmt":"2026-01-29T07:59:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pdki.org\/english\/?p=6995"},"modified":"2026-01-29T07:59:17","modified_gmt":"2026-01-29T07:59:17","slug":"meeting-of-the-pdki-representatives-in-norway-with-the-political-advisor-of-amnesty-international","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pdki.org\/english\/meeting-of-the-pdki-representatives-in-norway-with-the-political-advisor-of-amnesty-international\/","title":{"rendered":"Meeting of the PDKI Representatives in Norway with the Political Advisor of Amnesty International"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">In continuation of the activities and efforts of the PDKI foreign relations a meeting took place in Oslo on January 28, 2026, between representatives of the party\u2014consisting of Amir Babakhani and Hozan Agoshi\u2014and Amnesty International, with the participation of Mr. Gerald Kador Folkvord, political advisor of that organization, to discuss the human rights situation in Iran and East Kurdistan. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">During the meeting, Amnesty International provided clarifications on its mandate and working methods, and reaffirmed that it works on the human rights situation in Iran in general, while at the same time being aware of the severe conditions in the Kurdistan Region.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">The PDKI delegation expressed their concerns regarding the Iranian regime\u2019s attacks, killings, and arrests of Kurdish citizens, and called for greater attention and international follow-up.
