East Kurdistan Dialogue Center Delegation Holds High-Level Talks with German Federal Foreign Office
At the invitation of the German Federal Foreign Office, and in cooperation with the Hengaw Organization, a delegation representing the parties of the Dialogue Center of East Kurdistan visited the German Foreign Ministry in Berlin on Tuesday, January 27, 2026. There, they met with a high-level delegation from the ministry.
They also discussed the role and position of political forces in Kurdistan, particularly the success of the general strike called for by the Dialogue Center. They emphasized that the people of Kurdistan are their parties’ main supporters and that Kurdistan is fully prepared for any scenario.
While expressing regret over the repression of the people of Iran and Kurdistan, the host delegation stressed the importance of such meetings. They reiterated that the regime has reached a dead end in every respect and is no longer able to extricate itself from this situation.
The German delegation highly valued the establishment of the Dialogue Center and its activities, regarding it as a significant political achievement for Kurdistan and a suitable platform for diplomatic relations. They expressed their readiness to engage with the Center going forward, as the representative of East Kurdistan and as a strong pillar of opposition to the Iranian regime. They reaffirmed their commitment to holding regular meetings and discussions. They also expressed hope that the Center would serve as an inspiration and model for other Iranian opposition parties and groups.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Dialogue Center delegation raised several requests. The Foreign Office delegation took these requests seriously and promised to work toward advancing them. The host delegation thanked the Dialogue Center delegation for the meeting and requested that they maintain ongoing contact.
In addition to supporting the Dialogue Center, the Hengaw Organization presented a comprehensive report on the situation in Iran and Kurdistan.
