IRGC Documentary on Its Failed Attack on the PDKI

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) recently released a documentary filled with lies on its failed attack on PDKI’s headquarters in Koya, located in southern (Iraqi) Kurdistan.
In 1996, more than 5000 IRGC terrorists entered southern Kurdistan armed with heavy artillery to attack the PDKI. The failed operation lasted for two days and not a single PDKI Peshmerga was injured or martyred.
The documentary does not mention the fact that the IRGC was forced to withdraw and five days after the failed attack, 125 members of the IRGC were killed in eastern (Iranian) Kurdistan in clashes with the Peshmerga Forces.
The purpose of broadcasting the documentary is twofold; the IRGC wants to portray an image of its military ability and remind that it can attack the PDKI in southern Kurdistan. The IRGC also seeks to create disunity between Kurdish political parties in the two different parts of Kurdistan by claiming that it received approval and help from Kurdish political parties in southern Kurdistan.
PDKI will never allow the enemies of the Kurdish people to create disunity among the Kurdish people and their political parties.
PDKI will always defend the Kurdish people against Iranian military aggression.
All efforts to spread this kind of propaganda have always backfired against the theocratic regime in Iran and its terrorist Islamic Revolutionary Guards.
