Two Peshmerga Martyred in Bokan

The Central Command of Kurdistan’s Peshmerga Forces issued a statement on a recent clash between Peshmerga and Iran’s intelligence service Ettela’at and its terrorist Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) in the Kurdish city of Bokan. Unfortunately, two Peshmergas, Shahab Heydari and Hezhar Rezai, were martyred in the clash.
A Peshmerga platoon was in the Kurdish city of Bokan in eastern (Iranian) Kurdistan were ambushed by Iran’s terrorist IRGC and Ettela’at. In the ensuing battle, Shahab Heydari and Hezhar Rezai were martyred.
Shahab Heydari was born in Mahabad. He became an active member of PDKI’s clandestine organization in eastern Kurdistan in 2010. In 2016, he joined Kurdistan’s Peshmerga Forces.
Hezhar Rezai was born in the village of Qala in the Miandwaw region. In recent years, he had joined one of the urban Peshmerga units in his home region. He grew up in a family renowned for their patriotism and scarifies for the Kurdish cause. Three members of the Rezai family have been martyred in pursuit of the liberation of the Kurdish nation.
