Two PDKI Peshmergas were Martyred in Clash with IRGC
PDKI’s Peshmerga Forces clashed with Iran’s terrorist Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in Piranshar on August 5, 2017. The clash erupted around 23:00 local time when Iran’s terrorist IRGC ambushed a platoon of the Peshmerga Forces.
In the ensuing clash at least four members of the IRGC were killed and six others were injured.
Unfortunately, two brave Peshmergas by the names of Yaqob Moradi and Hemin Molannejad were martyred in the clash.
Moradi was born in 1984 in the village of Tepebor in the Hewshar region. He served as a Peshmerga for 15 years.
Molannejad was born in 1994 in the city of Mahabad. He joined the Peshmerga Forces two years ago.
PDKI sends its deepest condolences to the Kurdish nation and these two brave Peshmergas family members and fellow Peshmergas.
The best way to pay tribute to our martyrs is to continue their struggle.
